Amb la finalitat de promoure i divulgar el coneixement de la meteorologia i la climatologia de la Mediterrània, l'Associació Catalana de Meteorologia (ACAM) convoca el Premi Internacional de Meteorologia Eduard Fontserè 2021, amb el patrocini del Servei Meteorològic de Catalunya (SMC), dotat amb 2.500 EUR a treballs publicats entre el 2019 i el 2021 en revistes d'investigació de ciències atmosfèriques indexades en el Science Citation Index o SCOPUS, amb aportacions rellevants per al coneixement de la meteorologia i la climatologia de la Mediterrània.

In order to promote and disseminate the knowledge about meteorology and climatology in the Mediterranean basin, the Catalan Meteorological Society (ACAM) establishes the International Award on Meteorology Eduard Fontserè 2021. The award is sponsored by the Meteorological Service of Catalonia (SMC), and it is endowed with 2.500 EUR. It will recognize papers published in atmospheric science journals included in the SCI (Science Citation Index, Thomson Reuters) or SCOPUS, between 2019 and 2021, which offer a noteworthy contribution to the improvement of the knowledge of meteorology and climatology in the Mediterranean basin.
